Inlet Grove High School prepares students for leadership
May 7 was 'Senior Check-out Day' at Inlet Grove High School in Riviera Beach. After getting their cap and gown, each student was obligated to talk to League of Women Voters of Palm Beach volunteers for voter registration.
I wish everyone in Palm Beach County could meet these amazing students and appreciate how well-prepared they are for a successful future. Each student has a plan for college or a specific career path. Along with being academically well-guided, these students had grace and kindness as they interacted with volunteers.
Inlet Grove is an A-rated charter school begun in 2002 by Emma Banks with a clear mission to bring education excellence to a minority community. Banks was at school on May 7, and it was an honor to speak with her. Her vision has been well met with the 156 students who are graduating in 2025. Congratulations, students, and thank you for being our future leaders!
